Alright, I ain't gonna sugar-coat this fer ya. This is the basics of livin' here. (Haha, all of a sudden Bela has a Jersey accent...)
This city that we all live in is called Hale'iwa. It is loosely based on the real-life city of Haleiwa, Hawaii, which really is one of the most diverse cities in the US. (Why the US? Just Because.) This means that we live in a very tropical climate. You should adjust your manner and clothing accordingly. Also, the time period of this rp is around the time of most of Hetalia, but not quite... 1947. This means it was after WWII, but most of the allies/axis powers still seriously hate each other (and in this scene, Japan and America especially.) I have chosen to set it in this period because organized crime nowadays just isn't like it used to be (Bloods and Crypts, anyone? No class, no class at all.). Because of this, you should yet again adjust your style and manner acordingly (and your technology...). Use your imagination. I know you can do it.
Okay, here's your straight breakdown of the different areas, as of now:
Neutral Zone - This area includes the Residential District and The Orchards. The Residential District is where all families live; supposedly they don't fight there... The Orchards are on the outskirts of the city; people come here to escape the bustle of the city and the prying eyes of their Family.
Shopping District (Asian Family) - This area includes Shijō (The Market)` and Kiku's Shaved Ice. This a slightly poor area of the city, but the Asian residents are slowly regaining their statuses. Shijō is a marketplace which sells anything and is open to buyers and sellers. Kiku's Shaved Ice is a bit of a tourist trap but also a nice place to meet for an outing.
City Center (English Family)- This area includes the City Hall and the Police Station. This is the nicest part of the city but certain people aren't really welcome here. I'm sure you can figure out these two buildings.
Red-Light District (French Family) - This area includes Le Bordel Rouge Pétales (The Red Petal Brothel) and Le Casino Dame Chance (The Lucky Lady Casino). This area rivals the City Center in aesthetics, but is a bit..."shady". These two are a bit self-explanatory as well...
Warehouse District (German Family) - This area includes Deutsch Uhrwerken (German Clockworks) and Preushischen Munition - Verlassene (Prussia Ammunition - Abandoned). Deutsch Uhrwerken is a clock shop that specializes in cuckoo clocks, and Preushishen Munition is an abandoned army warehouse.
Mid Shore (Mediterranean Family) - This area has I Paralia (The Beach) and Sadiq's Surf Shop. This area is rather nice and open, and the people are (usually) quite friendly. Sadiq's Surf Shop, though, has a bit of a reputation for making people.. disappear.
North Shore (Nordic Family) - This area has Fisket Brygger (The Fishing Wharves) and The Sea and Land Nature Preserve. Fisket Brygger doesn't really get a lot of visitors; this is how the Nordics make their money. The Sea and Land Nature Preserve is an open space where anyone is welcome (this a basically Neutral Territory).
Business District (Roman Family) - This area has Viva Italia and La Banka (The Bank). La Pastaaa is a restaurant that serves delicious (and fattening...) Italian food. La Banka...most people avoid it.
South Shore (Russian Family) - This area has Bei (The Bay) and Parestki I Nahadvanni Mohilkach (Remains And Reminders Cemetery). The two have little difference in purpose. This area is best avoided if you don't speak some type of Russian...
And there you have it~
(And yes, I am writing them in the countries' own languages. Sorry if that bothers you...I recommend Google Translate.)
